Learn to Make Tiny Things!

2 hour hand-building class
Make a tiny version of anything from woodland creatures, decorative dishes to store little treasures, or a tiny friend you dream up from your own imagination!
We will explore hand-building at a small scale, creating guardians, objects and creatures that can keep you company wherever you choose to keep them. You can think of creative ways to make these creatures can be made into functional pieces, like a frog who holds incense or a wizard whose hat holds your rings.
We will cover basic joining and miniature slab building and pinch pots, as well as using tools to make details on a smaller scale than our fingers. This class is suited for both beginners wanting to try clay for the first time and those with more ceramics experience.
We will use underglaze paints to add colour and detail to our tiny objects.
