Lumpy Bottles
Tutor: Phoebe Carse
2 hour Hand-building class
Using basic hand-building techniques you’ll craft a one-of-a-kind bottle shape from white stoneware clay, embracing the beauty of organic, "lumpy" forms. You’ll also have the opportunity to experiment with surface decoration, adding texture and personality to your creation.
Phoebe will guide you every step of the way, ensuring that you leave with a completed piece that reflects your personal style. No prior experience necessary, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little messy!
Please note the images show two unglazed bottles, you can decorate yours however you like with the underglaze paints provided, or any of the Mud Studio glazes available that we will apply for you after your pieces have had their first firing.
