Annie Yu

Annie Yu is a Chinese Canadian artist, who grew up in Tāmaki Makaurau. She completed a Bachelor of Industrial Design at AUT where she gained an interest in ceramics whilst procrastinating from her work.

 Annie's work explores the relationship between natural and geometric forms, analogue and digital making processes, and generative design methods to create objects that have a visual fluidity. They often portray a sense of intricacy, balance and fragility that is challenging, but very satisfying to create.
