Perched somewhere between a bowl and a plate, these shallow, wide forms are lightweight and versatile. Perfect for salads, pasta and soups, their size makes them suitable as serve-ware for shared dishes, or a dish for one.
While each piece is one of a kind, they are part of an ongoing exploration into surface texture and pattern using everyday items, such as packaging materials. Only the eating surface is glazed, allowing users to connect more directly with the clay body. The exposed surface of the dish may gather marks over time, capturing the story of its use.
